HOW IT STARTED
In 2007, after years of working at a John Deere dealer, Sylvain and his brother Francois Vouligny decided to start a small business specializing in custom laser cutting services operating out of a 4,000 square foot building. Former customers continued to turn to them for spare parts and rebuilt components, and the business quickly gained momentum.
In 2012, Sylvain and his wife Jenny proudly formed Duratek Equipements! Valuing their customers’ feedback, they focused on continuous improvements to deliver powerful and durable products with the fastest lead times in the market.
Today, Duratek Equipements is a family owned and operated business in Bécancour, Quebec, now located in an 80,000 square foot facility on six acres of land. They remain dedicated to listening to customer feedback and carrying a full inventory to serve a wide variety of machinery.
Community Involvement
Duratek Equipments demonstrates its commitment to the community by volunteering at the local agricultural fair, where profits are reinvested into the community to develop urban spaces for children. Duratek also provides funding for clothing, shoes, and school supplies for families in need.
